Our leaders and institutions are planning to end society as we have known it. They don't care what average citizens think and they believe that they have a legitimate immoral authority to do as they please with or without public approval. The level of control they seek is extreme and unprecedented which suggests that average citizens are probably not going to like what is coming.
Our leaders know that their financial and economic system is unfixable so they are abusing what's left of it to save themselves before the inevitable collapse. They know average citizens are going to get angry and revolt so they are building a global surveillance state like the one China has been showcasing. At least half the population hasn't got a clue about what is coming and as yet no national survival plan is being discussed. Even our so called "Freedom Leaders" haven't got a clue about what to do when the shit hits the fan, or how to design and build a better socio-economic operating system.
So here are a few ideas to get people thinking outside the box that will soon collapse around them. A lot of this I've discussed before but people keep asking "what about" questions so hopefully this short summary will help fill in the blanks.
New Money Creation
There are only two ways to create new money in the new society. Workers who contribute socially productive labour create hour credits for themselves by simply working. New hour credits enter the marketplace as income for workers. Labour that is highly skilled, dangerous, stressful or socially important can be rewarded with additional hour credits, or paid time-off, so incomes for identical hours of work need not always be equal. For example, a surgeon might earn 18 hours of income for performing just 6 hours of surgery.
All people have a birthright to use a share of the planet's natural resources. Since society has constructed a paywall around that birthright, all people must receive enough money to exercise that birthright. A national birthright fund would create an equal monthly endowment for every citizen regardless of whether they are willing or able to work or not. A minimum age limit could be set to determine entitlement. The endowment amount is set to a publicly decided percentage of the total hours worked each month. That same percentage is added to the prices of everything sold, so if the endowment amount is set at 20% of the total hours worked, then all product prices will also increase by 20%. Since everyone receives the endowment, it avoids the stigma of welfare.
The Flow of Money
All money created goes either directly to the workers who actually create the products and services or to individual citizens as their endowment. Businesses have no money of their own. Instead they have a commercial line-of-credit. All product costs (labour, materials, overhead, etc.) are recorded on their line-of-credit.
Everything produced belongs to the workers and citizens, businesses own nothing. Businesses are simply custodians and distributors of the assets that workers produce. Line-of-credit balances are adjusted when business-to-business product transfers occur. The outstanding credit balance of the shipper is reduced by the value of the shipment. The outstanding credit balance of the receiver is likewise increased, by the shipment value.
When money is spent on consumption it is naturally extinguished, because the underlying value of the asset that it was created to represent is extinguished by that consumption. Money does not re-circulate and people cannot re-spend other people's earned income. The only way to get more money is to do additional work (or wait for the next endowment). Unspent earnings remain on a worker's personal line-of-credit indefinitely. No interest or penalty is ever applied.
Loans and debt are totally unnecessary as all major assets are paid for only at the real, normal depreciation rate that is specified by the manufacturer. Pay only for what you use and nothing more - no full, up-front financing or interest charges are required.
Taxation
Involuntary, forced taxation to fund unlimited government spending will end. Citizens will choose from a menu of proposed government services which ones they support. The program cost to the individual will be listed and only those programs chosen by enough people to make them economically feasible will proceed. Taxpayers who change their mind and want in on an existing program will be allowed to join but
refunds or opting out of a previous commitment won't be allowed until the next menu cycle. The menu system will help make all government expenditures transparent and help hold politicians and government agencies accountable. Taxpayers will determine the government’s budget. Without involuntary taxation or the power to create debt-based currency the power and influence of governments over the public will fade. People will learn to be responsible for themselves.
Existing Debt
All existing debt will be monetized and every lender will have their original loan amount, less any payments already received, returned to them. A formula for dollar-to-hour conversions will enable a "fair" wealth transition method. Wealthy families can freely transfer funds to other countries. Citizens will no longer need to be exploited by their leveraged financial antics or imaginary resources.
First Step
To prepare for the coming series of economic and financial crises, and to develop an alternative to the government’s planned technocratic takeover of our rights and possessions, we must educate all those around us to what is coming and what other options exist. At first these ideas might seem unrealistic or even utopian but reality is about to change dramatically. What historically has held society together is flying apart in so many directions it is impossible to count. They are not as smart and powerful as they dream they are. We the people keep society running and we can shut it down any time we choose. But before we do we better have a clear vision of a better alternative. This is where YOU come in. Are you ready to evolve?
The entire concept of employment is a scam designed to use your life for someone else's profit. Look it up in the dictionary and you will see that the word employ literally means to use or to use for a purpose and that is exactly what your life has become under the current system.
You go to school for years not to become a better human being but to become a better tool for someone else to use. We are trained to sit still, listen to authority, and accept that the only way to survive is to let a corporation extract value from our time while they keep the surplus and pay us just enough to come back the next day. It is a cycle where you are building someone else’s dream while yours collects dust.
But imagine if we flipped the entire script on how money works. Right now we are stuck in a trap called private capital. This means that to create a job or start a business you need a pile of money upfront. If you don't have rich parents or a bank loan you are out of luck. This creates a bottleneck where millions of young people are unemployed or underemployed not because there isn't work to be done but because there isn't enough money in the hands of employers to pay them. It is a completely artificial scarcity.
We need to switch to a system of public capital where money is not a barrier but a tool that appears exactly when it is needed. Here is the radical part that changes everything. In this new system need generates work and that work automatically creates new money. If there is work to be done there is always enough money to do it. Let’s break down how you would get paid because this is going to sound like a glitch in the matrix but it is actually just better accounting.
In this system your boss does not need to have his own dollars in the bank to hire you. Employers don't need to finance your wages. You go to work and you put in your hours. The employer records those hours and sends the data to the credit bank The bank doesn't take money out of the boss's account to give to you. Instead the bank credits your account with brand new money created right then and there. Your labor created the value so the system creates the credit receipt to match it. Money is born the moment you do the work.
This means no one is ever laid off because of budget cuts. If you are performing socially useful labour you generate income. The money enters the economy through your labour. Then when you go out and buy a pizza or pay your bills that money is extinguished. It doesn't recirculate forever making the rich richer. It serves its purpose as a medium of exchange and then it vanishes from the ledger. It creates a perfect balance where inflation isn't eating your savings because money only exists to facilitate actual real world value.
Now lets talk about the unemployed or the people with big ideas but zero cash. This system is the ultimate unlock for entrepreneurs. Under public capital you are essentially self-employed even if you work for a firm. But if you want to start your own thing you don't need to beg venture capitalists for funding. You just need a sound idea.
You register your business and get a transaction number. Boom. You instantly have a business line of public credit at the bank. You need equipment? You need raw materials? You order them. No money changes hands. It just transfers accounting credits. The seller's account is credited and your buyer account is debited. The value of the stuff you bought provides the security. You can start building your empire tomorrow without having a single dollar in your pocket today.
This is what we call public capitalism. It removes the gatekeepers who tell you that you are too young or too broke to participate in the economy. This changes your entire lifestyle. You are no longer chained to a desk because you are terrified of losing your health insurance or your salary. You can specialize and have one steady gig or you can travel the world and pick up occasional jobs as you go.
Because the money is generated by the work itself you can work anywhere that needs something done. This restores dignity to everything we do. No more toxic bosses holding your livelihood hostage. If a workplace sucks you leave and start your own venture or find a new project. The power dynamic shifts completely from the owner of the capital to the owner of the labor and that is you.
We have to stop accepting that our time on Earth is cheap. Your time is the most valuable resource in existence. It is the only thing you can never get back. The current system wants you to think you are worthless unless someone else employs you. That is a lie. You have value because you exist and you have the capacity to create. We need a financial system that recognizes that reality instead of suppressing it. We need to stop being used and start living as partners in an economy that actually works for us.
Why do we destroy the Good, allow the Bad, without even discussing a Better Economic System?
